Student Talking Time (STT)

Student Talking Time (STT) means the time that students are given to speak and express themselves in a language learning or language classroom setting.

It is a way for teachers to create opportunities for students to practice their language skills, such as speaking, listening, and interacting with others.

STT can be incorporated into language lessons through discussions, role-plays, presentations, or debates.

It can be used to assess students' language abilities, as well as to encourage their participation and engagement in the language learning process.

By allowing students to have STT, teachers can create a more dynamic and interactive learning environment that promotes student-centered learning and fosters the development of language skills.

It is important for teachers to keep a balance between STT and teacher-led instruction, in order to ensure that students are getting sufficient practice and support while also being given the opportunity to express themselves and take an active role in their own learning.
